<3 Foose. Been admiring his work for years. About 5 or 6 years ago I was even doing the drawings like he was and even drawing rims...kinda lost track of that and am just painting portraits of cars now but still love his artwork and some of the work he does on cars.

I wish I did. I thought I had one until the feller I was getting it from flaked on me. It was a 1966 Ford Galaxie done up like a Boston police car. It was originally going to be used a junk drag car (no customizing except for a new engine) by the original owner but was left at a tow yard. Damned thing was abused all to hell: sitting on rusted out original rims, interior looked like a bobcat had gotten to it, serious salt damage on a rear quarter panel and the underside of the trunk, no battery and the engine looked like it had been sitting in a century old attic by itself. I wanted it and was going to work on it, bit by bit but like I said the guy flaked on my butt when it came time to set up a date for towing it from Richmond to Hampton Roads. Either way, I've got my eye on another Galaxie...a 1968.

Miss Lilly Day owns a mid-1950s Plymouth Belvedere...we've been helping her with stripping it out, cleaning it up and sanding it to get it ready for paint and a new engine. Since it's getting warm again, I'm excited to dirty up my knuckles helping her and our husbands get it ready for summer's car shows. It'll be the Pinup Angel car. It's got gorgeous curves and would be a stunning car once it's painted up nice again.
